The Financial Times has recognized Ukraine as the world’s No. 1 country in terms of improving its business climate since 2010.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman reported this on his Facebook page.
“There’s good news! The Financial Times has recognized Ukraine as the first country in the world to improve its business climate. Our state has the best figures of the pace of development,” Groysman wrote.
Ukraine is the largest gainer since 2010 in the World Bank ease of doing business rating, with 63.9 points in 2017, up 24.21 points from 39.69 points in 2010.
The countries behind Ukraine in the rating are Uzbekistan (an increase of 23.59 points), Belarus (22.25), Kazakhstan (18.28), and Russia (18.26).
